Slow image loading!

Thumbnails are slow to load on some of the galleries and when I click on a thumbnail to show the larger image, the load time is extremely slow and sometimes with certain images doesn't load at all.

Can anybody help with this?

    Thank you, Denise. It was never my intention to make more work for anyone. I'm just looking for some suggestions with the slow image loading issue and hopefully will get helpful responses regarding this matter.
