    I too find the shot interesting....

    Is that an HDR blend or using some of the high-contrast techniques to give this appearance?

    And is that a door handle so low/center or a door knocker?

    It's not HDR, just using levels and curves to get the effect and some post crop in LR... and that is the original door handle down there and the dead lock is a more recent addition. I couldn't work out why the cutout was done either
