Hi,

I have a smugmug Pro account that I was able to built, by adding a header, a footer and a navigation bar months ago.

Now I've got a big problem with it : I HAVE to edit my navigation bar links (one major dead link to change) and I can't because in the "easy customizer" mode, I can see in the preview box that all is ok, but after that when I hit the "publish" (or even the "save for later") button, I have to LOG IN AGAIN (even with the "keep me sign" box checked), and so my modifications are not recorded ... and in the preview mode, my changes are even no more visible (and my homepage is still looking like the old one as a matter of fact ...)

THAT DRIVES ME CRAZY

Can someone help me ?

It's a really big problem for me and my website.

You can visit me there www.picola.fr

Thank to all of you (and excuse my really bad english)

    Hi Picola,

Sorry to hear about your troubles. Can you try hiding the video box from your homepage? After doing that, see if your changes are saved in the Easy customizer.

Also check your browser cookie settings and make sure you accept all cookies, including third party cookies:
    http://www.smugmug.com/help/cookies

When logging in, do you have the 'keep me logged in' checkbox checked? If not, give it a try with that checkbox checked.

If you keep having that issue, please email us at our helpdesk with a link back to this Dgrin thread:
    http://www.smugmug.com/help/emailreal
Also include if there were any changes / differences when using my above suggestions.

    Thanks!

Hi Sebastian and thank you for your quick and so precise responce.

I've tried this morning to customize the homepage with 3 different PC (and Internet navigators) (and I must confess that I've tried to do it with my Android Google phone !!) with the same issue.

I was aware of this cookie trick and the 'keep me logged in' checkbox checked, but I hadn't tried without the video box on the homepage.

Now, it's working just fine, by removing the video box before customization and by replacing it after all has been done the right way.

I still have to log in before the customization page and after this page when I change something. Is it normal ?

Anyway, everything works now. So a big thank you Sebastian !
