Coupon question

I just set up an "at cost" coupon for some of my galleries. If someone uses this coupon for prints or downloads, will I be charged anything or is it a wash?

My understanding is that the customer will be charged SmugMug's base price for prints and won't be charged anything for downloads. Is that right?

I am confused because when I sell a download, SmugMug takes a cut. Will I lose money by offering downloads at cost?

Thanks in advance!

    Hi Barrie,

In your words, it's a wash. :) With the at-cost coupon, there will be no charge for digital downloads at all, and base SmugMug prices will be charged for prints and products, which the customer will pay. You won't be charged for anything. Only when there's profit are you subject to the 15% SmugMug commission. thumb.gif
