Ocean's Calling

With the stormy weather clearing overnight, I placed my bets on a good sunrise and trekked out to the coast this morning. I walked around a bit and found a comp I liked, set up and took a couple of test shots to get my settings correct. This was the second test shot I took before a wave drenched me and my gear. After I cleaned everything off, the light had passed, and the shots I took from then on were plagued by salt grime I could not get off my lens (using my high tech method of wiping my lens with my shirt). It turned out well enough, though, so I thought I'd share. Its a 15 second single exposure for the cloud streaks and misty water, Canon 5DII, Nikon 14-24mm lens with adapter, f/20, ISO 50. Thanks for looking.

Hope your gear recovered and that you managed to get the grime off
