Found this shooting around the garage recently. Took a few attempts to get a half decent photo as it insisted on hiding in the corner. Managed to capture it without damaging the wings, good to see if fly off unharmed.

It's a Southern Hawker Dragonfly, about 75mm/3" long with a wingspan nearer 100mm/4":
