UDMA 600x-capable card readers
I need to update my card reader. The Kingston FCR-HS215/1 has done a good job, but with large video files on the SanDisk Extreme Pro 90MB/s (600X) 32 Gb card I'd like something faster, preferably USB 3.0 or Firewire 800 capable.
Some of the card readers recommended on Dgrin over the last year have been discontinued or said to have problems. The Rocketfish is no longer carried by B&H.
Any suggestions?

At this link http://www.lexar.com/products/lexar-professional-expresscard-compactflash-cf-reader?category=531 I think I may have my answer. Since I'm using a MacBook Pro with an expresscard capability, this looks goods.
Any comments?

I cannot find anything that says the Sandisk Extreme Firewire reader is UDMA capable. It's expensive: around $100. Speed claimed is around 40Mb/sec. The Lexar Express Card CF card reader mentioned above is faster and cheaper, I believe. I've ordered the Lexar reader, so when I've tested it I'll report how well it works.

Looking forward to your review.

Great! As a side point, I'm curious where you're getting that $100 price tag. Last time I checked, it was $60 at Adorama.
