Newbie sports shooter soliciting advice (swimming, basketball)

    Hi, I've shot a lot of swimming (you can check it out in my "swimming" gallery on my sit if you want). My advice is to look for the emotion in the shot - this can be expressed in several ways booth preceding, during and following a race. The 70-200 is great lens for the action. Try a monopod for the indoor pool and make sure you take advantage of all the vr settings. I like the the shots you shared - the best is the b/w start with the enhanced caps.
