If you're serious about having fun (and you will) with this great converter you can get all the right up to the minute nitty-gritty and low-down in this e-book "The Bibble Survival Guide" at http://www.bibblesurvivalguide.com. The 200+ page PDF e-book is available now for purchase via their web site for ~ $30.

PS I have no vested interest in Bibble, only in my photos!:thumb

... if ~$30 is worth getting all the answer you want, and maybe greater post-processing satisfaction? But if you want nice-jpeggy-like-looks-almost-automatically Lr3.3 is it!

I read this review several times while I was myself doing comparisons. I came to the conclusion that on many points it was just not correct, and not only about Bibble, probably because to make a valid assessment of any editing tool, even on a "basic" level, requires quite a bit more discretion than merely opening it up and shifting a few sliders and clicking here and there. This is especially the case with Bibble and CaptureOne, which are very conservative in their pre-rendering if all defaults are zero. Some insight into the general paradigm of these programs is necessary to approach them properly, which in turn is necessary for whatever you say about them to make sense. A lot of what that reviewer says does not make sense!
Nevertheless, I have myself, through trying in my review to orient potential trialers of Bibble, warned about certain things, as well as made my needs of a RAW converter clear.
The point has to be made too that much less is required of a converter-editer if you are working in black and white. Colour is far more demanding of quality, versatility and complexity.
