I like #1 - simple and clean. #4 would be my 2nd pick - maybe amp up the color of the chips and crop just above the 3rd glass kiss??

I like #1 the best. The crop feels a little tight to me, I think I'd like to see more of the winter hat, so you know she just came in from the cold, and is warming up with that delicious hot cocoa...maybe even a little rosy glow on her nose? Great idea!

The shadows in #1 seem a bit harsh to me. I like #2, but the angle bothers me--the cocoa should be spilling out. I love the hot cocoa idea, and the hat is great.

I think that #2 without the angle would be really nice :)

It might just be me, but I prefer color over B&W for #2 - without color, I can't tell if that is hot chocolate or onion soup ne_nau.gif

Looking at the other responses, yeah, #2, straightened and in color was what I was basically getting at:D

Thanks to each of you who commented - I know it's kinda late for more comments, but any would be appreciated!

Thanks konomaniac - I like the simple & clean of #1 too. #4 was my dream idea that didn't turn out as well as hoped - I attempted an infinity mirror & it looked a lot better in my mind than in the photo! I did crop it a little on the top & think that improves it. I really like this one & changed the name cuz to me it looks kinda like fields of crops, but the cocoa seems to be getting a better response.

Thanks Karin - I agree that the crop is really tight on #1. She actually had just come in & surprised me while I was attempting to take some very boring photos of hot chocolate in a cup, so she didn't even take her coat off & we shot these -that's also why the marshmallows are so melted!

Thanks Kate - I hadn't thought of the angle making the cocoa spill, but I def agree! Couldn't find another shot in that set without an angle that was good enough - I know I tend to shoot more angles than straight & need to back off on the angles some :) And she just happened to be wearing her boyfriend's hat!

Thanks Kristin - I really like the lighting & processing on that one - tried to imitate it without success. I'm hoping one of these from a reshoot tonight might work better - my daughter was in a pretty silly mood:

I'll probably be alone in saying this, but I still like #1 the best

That's my opinion and I'm sticking to it :D

Can't really explain it, but I like the original hot chocolate one #2. The tilt somehow doesn't bother me... I kinda like it!

I like #1 as well. It has more of a timeless feel to it.
