Google Analytics Question

So I recently switched from having my google analytics code in my footer to just adding the ID to Smugmug and letting them do the work, and I noticed a significant change in my numbers. Previously I had seen things like identical duplicate hits, and referrals by my own URL, so that didn't surprise me, but here's a thought I had: Can Smugmug keep track of which hits are ME and not count those in my google analytics? It would be nice to see numbers and know for sure that I haven't had any effect on them myself. Is it possible? Is it already happening? :rofl

Thanks!

You can make a filter from your Google Analytics dashboard to exclude hits from your IP address in the count. You can find your IP address at www.whatismyip.com then, from your GA dashboard click on "Filter Manager" (lower right of the screen). Then "+Add Filter" in the upper right and make a new exclude filter to not count any hits from your IP.
