They can be rather harsh even in Southern California but you make the best of the scenery anyway.

Their original photographer bailed on them within a week of the ceremony so we (My partner and I) didn't get a chance to meet them until their wedding day.

They were pleased to have us.

Nice set! You might want to increase the shutter speed on the picture of them all dancing!

I like the pix, but that lip ring just bother the hell out of me... it looks like she's pouting all the time.

On the jumping shots I wanted to get a bit of motion blur for a change as I usually stop the action.

Yes it is, this was the last wedding at The Orchard as the owner is moving on to pursue his bakery business.....

Yes, many of my friends (my age) where quite disgusted by it when I shared the album with them but I'm quite a bit more open minded and realize that young people are going to do such things these days :D

Okay, I guess I have to ask...what the hecks up with the girl with her hands on her hips in number 4...the spoiler...hmmm...lol...oh well...there's one in every crowd. The reason that I say spoiler...is that since she is standing there...hands on hips...like in advertising...it draws attention away from all the rest of merry makers...

Like your work. It's just me, but in your number 2, I'd crop it to get rid of the guy up front or clone over him...if you can.

    Just my two cents.
Remember, no one may want you to take pictures, but they all want to see them.

Well they had arranged a swap, time for services....
She (the bride) was going to give the photographer's daughter eleven horseback riding lessons in exchange for his time at the wedding but he changed his mind one week before the event.
Perhaps he got a paying job and canceled?

Ha yes, the bride's sister...she was quite the arbitrary one, she was frowning in just about every image she was in......

That's a great suggestion on #2, I don't think the minister is necessary to the mood on that one.
    Thanks

I like the portraits of the B&G - I would say that the green for his uniform is pretty yellow even for a cross processsed look
