Ok, so our school has organized a photography contest with the theme: "Johnians Go Green"
The blue bag which you will see is our "eco bag" where we put in our trash so that we do throw them anywhere :wink

    Nice shot!

Maybe a bit more at the bottom before the eye gets to the bag. And I think the blacks could pop a bit more in the first one. I'm not sure which I like better, but I think I prefer the first. It puts the emphasis more on the bag. Maybe try a little lower and closer to the bag and see how you like it.

You might also consider bringing some people into the shot.

    Good luck in the contest!

I don`t get what you mean by "Maybe a bit more at the bottom before the eye gets to the bag" :D

What I meant was that the bag is a little close to the bottom of the frame. You might consider pulling back a little so that it is higher in the frame.

I like the selective color on the first, but agree with WhatSheSaw's suggestion to include people - something dramatic like the same shot with (...my imagination goes crazy sometimes...) a person kneeling by the bag who is posed in an action of picking up something tiny to put into the bag - & the tiny thing being "picked up" is a 2 liter (or other large recycleable) that is actually setting on the ground in front of the green bushes.
~My imagination was fueled by me just looking at a bunch of "perspective" photos!

A photograph is an artistic expression of life, captured one moment at a time . . .

Thank you! I like your idea for the shot. Oh, wand what if I scatter a bunch of those "eco bags" on the floor? :D
