I can never understand why so many write their about page in third person.
It sounds so cold. If I was selling I would want to connect with my clients
personally. And if a photo is shown making sure it has a nice friendly smile.

It might depend upon whether you're trying to present yourself as a sole proprietor or a larger business. I would assume most folks here are sole proprietors so I'd agree that making a personal connection would be desirable.

I agree with both of you. If it's a group of photographers (as opposed to one), and it's a team effort, then using "we" instead of "me" works for me. The third person in this context? That really turns me off.

In fact, the only time I can accept the third person used in a bio is if the individual is clearly included a quote of a review that was written about that individual.

I like your bio - it makes sense. It tells me about you as a photographer and lets me feel that you are talking to me.

I also like the fact that you included a link to your gear for those who insist on knowing what you use but that it is essentially an aside. I've never understood bio pages that list gear as a center point.
