New camera and new lens, so give me a little slack. I didn't realize how noisy the shot ended up being until after I got to the computer. This shot has minimal processing done. More than anything, I was just happy to actually be able to play with an extreme DOF :). Thank you!

I love the DOF and the angle. I think I would prefer a tighter crop.

The really bright spot to the upper left is a little distracting to me, as my eye is drawn to it before the chocolate. You could play with a crop - the chocolate at the lower left third intersection might look good.

It looks like a stash in an abandoned building! If you were trying for a cold rendition, you are there. If you want to warm it up, bump up the reds a tad or use a warming filter in PS.

    I like it.

NOTE: I shoot a lot on my granite countertops. Sometimes if I don't want the granite to compete with my subject, I put down a layer of waxed paper. it works like a charm.

Personally, I like the granite in this one.
