Paris? So cool. Why can't we Americans be that cool?
    If not now, when?

Because you don't live in Paris. mwink.gif

Neat shot, but I wish the feet weren't cut off. Did you take any others at that spot?

Yes, it is Paris. I must say that the city does seem to embrace graffiti/street art. I get a big kick out of the small delivery trucks that are elaborately decorated in bright colors - each with a unique motif and design. I still can't resist snapping photos of the different designs. Years ago I came across a man carefully touching up his truck. You could make up a story about the whole phenomenon, but I don't know anything about the custom.

Thanks for the comment, Richard. You are right about the feet. it didn't bother me because there is enough information to see the similarity between her walking position and that of the woman in the wall art.

Her feet were on the bottom edge of the original and I lost some straightening the photograph. I think, however, that I may be able to do a better job of getting her feet into the picture, so will try and again and repost.

I did take other shots at this spot, but none has the same pleasant juxtaposition of human and wall and tonal unity (if that is the right term).

I try not to be O/C about it, but I think sometimes grounding is important. In this case, it only needed a little bit more--just as much as the art had--to work better.

That's better. thumb.gif I think if you cropped a bit off the top, it might also help.

clap.gif Her feet need to be in for sure, I would try to keep the same proportions as the original pic.
