Sorry about that title. suggestion saccepted.

Here are two samples. I tried dipping the orange in chocolate, but I couldn't produce an image that I liked. I finally resorted to pouring the chocolate over the orange.

What do you think?

Great concept & title! I like #1 better - color & composition, the long strand of syrup, & the seeds in #2 are distracting after looking at #1 with no seeds (on its own, the seeds are likely fine). Really like the subtle background colors - not sure if this is just colors reflected off the orange or what, but I like it - great lighting!

I think the protrait orientation works well and I like the larger pool of chocolate in the first. Plus I like the lighting better. Well done!

Oh - and I like the title, too!

I agree with Lillian and Karen. The port works much better with the streaming choc, and the quality of orange is much, much better in #1. I also like the deep rich chocolate brown flowing down without the specular highlights.

WhatSheSaw, Lillian and Paul, thanks for the feedback. I like #1, too for all of the same reasons that you suggest.

I have one more idea to play with ...maybe tonight.
