Hi - Town scene in Sintra, Portugal. I was recently approached by a South African Artist, Mrs. Wilma-Petro Marais, who gained so much inspiration from it, that she decided to make an oil painting of it.
Website link: http://www.paintingsilove.com/image/show/179615/sintra-town?path=artist&artist=wilmapetromarais refers.

Equipment: Nikon D50 + Nikkor 18-200VR lens

    Hi Herman,

Ok--I think the building architecture you captured is lovely and I like the processing, but as to this being "street/pj" I dont' see it really meeting that. I know it has people, but they are very peripheral.

I only say this because you posted in street, which is great, but if you want to accomplish something that fitst that, I think you missed.
It doesn't take away from the the good architecture shot, it's lovely.

    Just my two cents ok?

Also, next time post a bigger--better to appreciate the shot that way.

Sintra is beautiful. The Castle of the Moors is one of the coolest places ever.

It's a nice pic but since it's really an architecture shot, I think you ought to straighten it. Oh, and urban architecture shots are perfectly acceptable here. Sintra is a pleasant town but what most impressed me there were the number and size of the palaces on the surrounding hills. Whew!
