Despite my best efforts, sometimes anonymity escapes me. Thought this shot is relevant to the recent posts/discussions on lens lengths, having people look at the camera, engaging subjects, etc. On this shot, my iron discipline and experience allowed me to get the shot, even as I was cracking up as the subject started pointing at the camera a few steps before I tripped the shutter.

    Damn it Rainbow!
I want to do this too. Which is probably the best compliment I can give you.

Great example of Street/PJ - even if he is engaging you directly.

I like it. Even though he's engaging you, it doesn't seem like it's on a photographic level like, "hey, you photog", but on a person to person level like, "hey you!" (I hope that had some semblance of clarity)

    Great shot!

You will certainly get a different response from a performer/street performer (?) than you will from someone that feels intruded upon.

He is definitely in your face!

In this case I think this adds a great deal to the shot. Unique.

Makes the shot. Well done you.

Wonderful, Rainbow. A great example of the first rule of photography - Rules Are Made To Be Broken. Or, to put that "rule" another way ..... RULES?rolleyes1.gif
