I've decided I wanted to jump to Nikon land. The only way I can do so is to sell at least my camera body and two lenses.

5D - $900. Bought this from another photog not to long ago and it's just PERFECT. Sensor will be cleaned before shipping

50 1.4 -- $325 - Recently sent to canon for cleaning

Tamron 28-75 - $300 - Great go-to lens. It's always on my camera for candid moments.

Thanks!!

What is your best price as a package deal? Also, how old is the body? Date codes/shutter count?

I can give it for 1500.

I can ask original owner (capturedbycarrie.com) when she bought it, but I personally have had it for almost 18mos. I have had zero problems with it and wouldn't sell it if I didn't need the money to buy the nikon goods.

Not sure how to check for date codes or shutter counts.

Here is a session I did today with the 5d and 50 mm. One shot (the nose/lips) was with my macro.

A bit off-topic but why did you decide to jump ship?

My main focus is newborn photography and the d700 handles the noise better when I'm stuck in low light situation.

I've thought of upping to the mii, but I'm not too keen on the focusing issues that many people are experiencing.

I'm not trying to convince you to stay with Canon, but the 5DII has no focusing issues. It just has slower AF, about the same as the 5D Mark I. It doesn't do sports or action well, but for still shots like newborns it's absolutely fine.

Make no mistake, Nikon is good too.
