Nikon D70, 50mm f1.8D lens, Exposure at f8 at 1/2 second in Manual Mode. Single 60-watts lamp light source with reflector on the other end.
Sitting quietly, doing nothing. Spring comes and the grass grows by itself.

    Hey Jiro,
    Flower shots are tough--tough to make them look intersting, but you managed it. You lit it very nicely, the set up just works. I also like the border you added.

    Great photo! I LOVE the lighting... I love that as I was viewing the photo, I was expecting it to get darker on the right and then found that final burst of light on the petal tips! GREAT job!!!

    I use the CROP TOOL on photoshop. If you extend the edge handles (the small squares at the edge of the frames when the crop tool is active, it will allow you to 'add' extra spaces beyond the original image size. This will now become your frame. The color of the fame will now depend on the default color on your tools palette. If you want to add some effects like drop shadow (what I did here) you have to unlock the background layer first. You can unlock it by pressing the ALT key while double-clicking on the background layer at the layers window. Hope this helps, Juano.
