dgrin challenge 48 is here. it will run from monday, september 19th at 12:00:01 a.m. nyc time, through monday, october 3rd at noon nyc time. the guest judge for the challenge will be the winner of challenge 47, as determined by the voters.
remember, in order for everyone to benefit, you should be commenting and critiquing for others as much as you expect to get for yourself. you've got to give to get!
the challenge 48 theme is "the telephone" yep - your challenge is to make an image that features a telephone. time to get creative, folks!
this is a "no-photoshop" challenge. that means, only basic editing is allowed: color adjustments, contrast adjustments (e.g. levels or curves), toning, b&w conversions, sharpness are all ok. cloning, image manipulation, stretching, shrinking, pasting, are all *not* ok.
any entries without a date included, either typed in or by linked exif, will be deleted without notice.
this thread, is the one into which you post your challenge entry, and remember, one entry per person, and the photo must be fresh, taken during the challenge period. you must post the date the photograph was taken or it will be deemed ineligible.
all of the rules of the dgrin photo challenges apply, please read them!.

I was a little aggravated with the whole project. Let's just say the phone fell, and I said what the hell.

Just for info, this photo was taken at an old house
on Sullivan's Island. It is a perfect place, owned by
a woman even older than I am. She has lived
there forever. Many timeless treasures. Her name
is Mary.
