Okie dokie, you can stop now... I think you get my drift...
This is a globular springtail clambering over a mountainous region (actually a stone about 5 inches long, but to the glob, it's a mountain!)
It is quite small. OK, it is very very small... About 1mm in length. This is actually the Dicyrtomina saundersi, one of the collembola springies.
Sigma 105 with 3 extension tubes attached, flash used.
Got a couple more of it,as it marched across this psuedo-landscape, but this is the best head-on view I managed.
