Setting Gallery or Event Thumbnail

I do love the random feature for the gallery thumbnail when viewing all the galleries. But since we all know people don't like to read and they would rather look for a picture.

Is it possible to set the gallery thumbnail that is displayed or the event thumbnail when featuring the event on the home page?

    Ah.. I tried searching and must have missed it. Works great. Thank you.

    Any way of doing this for Featured Events? This would be HUGE!

    So I take it it's not possible to feature a photo for an event?

    Sure it is. In the event gallery, tools>this photo>feature

    Not sure if I made sense.
    I'm referring to when I have an event featured on my homepage. Can I set the thumbnail there to a featured photo?

    Hey Andy, just wanted to see if you had any other input on this. I have already gone into the gallery and featured a particular photo... So anywhere that gallery displayed the gallery thumbnail is of the featured photo.

    But.. now I want to create an Event that's obviously going to have multiple galleries and thousands of photos. I'm going to feature the event on my home page. But I would like to keep the Event Thumbnail a featured photo. Basically I want the event's logo to remain the thumbnail for that event.

    If events are like categories, they pick the thumbnail from the first gallery contained within them. I haven't verified that myself for events, but that's how categories work.

    John, This used to be the case for Events (see here: http://www.dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=174618) but I'm finding this is no longer the case. http://fhsaa.glossyfinish.com/featured-events

    Some times the logo is either the Cheerleading logo (which is what I want it to be) other times it's the wrestling logo. But now I'm having a whole 'nother issue with events. Ugh.
