Hey Khaos I like this shot-dramatic back/side lighting and the Diagonal lines created by the tops and bottoms of the trees-gives it an interesting perspective.......Mereimage

Very interesting wide angle distortion and great sky drama. The house is so wild looking. Nice shot.

Why not give it a title to help with placing it? It helped me appresiate it to know it was Key West. Does the house have a name?
    If not now, when?

Rutt, based on the subject, I would have to assume that it is the Museum of Art and History. :):

...but then I could be wrong and you know what they say about assume. 1drink.gif

    Thanks all.

Rutt, the full name is The Museum of Art and History at The Custom House.

It's close to the Port of Key West. This shot is actually the rear of the building. The front has a statue of Ernest Hemmingway in fisherman gear. The front wasn't as interesting a shot. Especially with the harsh light shiningg on it at the time.

Just a few hours after this shot it stormed. I mean stormed. We were walking ankle deep in water. We were in sitting in Sloppy Joes drinking and watching the flood update on the TV.:D
