In ND during the wintertime ....

1 -- We keep our poles warm

1145545682_rk9RE-L.jpg

2 -- We shovel our roofs.

1168162006_FN3Wu-L.jpg

3 -- We kick off the snow from our cars in parking lots so it doesn't drop in our garages.

1168162331_R8Mvy-L.jpg

4 -- We have a hard time finding the entrance.

1168162051_DFeuJ-L.jpg

5 -- And it looks like we don't dress our mannequins.

1168162261_xMySW-L.jpg

6 --And we keep our snowmen inside :scratch

Hahaha! High laughs from me on the shots! Loved it, Mary! rolleyes1.gif
Sitting quietly, doing nothing. Spring comes and the grass grows by itself.

I'm so ready for spring. It's been a brutal winter. We've had snow everyday for what seems like forever. Cold too ...

    Glad you enjoyed them :D

    Hi Mary,

I sure enjoyed this peek at a slice of your Winter environment. Do more of the same when you can.

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

    Hi Craig ...

Laughing.gif ... This place grows on a person. I'm just waiting for the Polar Bears to arrive. It's been cold enough for them to meander down from Canada rolleyes1.gif

Happy to hear you liked the series of photos :D

    Hi Mary Kim,

What an awesome and humorous series. It reminds me of my shivering years in central Illinois. Hang on, Spring is around the corner.

Lookin' good! Actually, at first I thought you had come to my homea and taken those picturesrolleyes1.gif

We are just coming out of a deep freeze and the local TV weather person says there will be 30 cm (a foot for those south of the 49th parallel) overnight tonight. Since my husband is working a night shift tonight, looks like I will be the one out at 5 a.m. With a snowblower making a path so he can come home at 6. On his next days off he will be removing excess snow from our roof too.

I love the photos and especially love the concept! Would you be offended if I copied the concept? I'm on the SoCal coast so what we do in January would be the total opposite of what you guys do up north.

Me too. When I take my dog out for the necessities, I wear a knee length down filled coat and look a lot like a brown pillsbury doughboy. It is not pretty, but it is warm.ne_nau.gif
