Hey everyone!

These are photos from the Russian public holiday 'Victory Day'. What's good and what's bad? Any feedback will be appreciated.

great subject matter..you can "feel" the character in their faces. Other then that the backgrounds are quite distracting. Open up that aperture at least if you can't frame clean backgrounds.

I can help saying, "I will crush your camera, you capitalist pig" in a heavy Russian accent when I look at #3. BTW, I do a really good accent.

Their faces definitely show a lot of character. And there is enough metal on their chests to build a small submarine :D

    Nice pictures.

Fantastic subjects. My favorite is the guy on the right in #3. Could you have zoomed/moved closer to get a tighter crop? Those faces look like they have seen a lot. Well done.

I don't know what it is about number two but I love the picture. Perfectly framed and interesting.

I think I'm a Little ashamed of previous posters.
Foques, anonymouscuban and schmoo. A little respect if you don't mind.

    Good shots,
