Dumbfounded.....

I just don't get it. OBVIOUSLY, I'm doing something wrong. But I simply can't understand why my photos don't show up in google search under the "images" section for popular keywords. Like local favorite musicians, whom some I have over 400 photos of but don't show up in the image results in google.
I'm almost livid, I'm getting there. Captions have their name, they are keyworded all alike, are in non password protected galleries, are Hello World enabled or whatever. What gives? Don't know if it matters Google Analytics has been activated, Hello Smuggers=Yes, Hello World=Yes. Meta Description, Meta Keywords-Check!
I've gone through these forums and everytime I think I'm on to this solution it forks off to another topic by someone. Google can find my SITE no problem, but as far as I can tell, when I search by name of someone I have a lot of photos of they don't show up in the image results.
This is a KEY advertising issue! If I take a photo of a local celebrity, I want people searching for them to find MY photos!??!?!? common sense?
Saying all this, I say again, I must be doing something wrong but for the life of me I don't know what and have not been able to find a legitimate answer in these forums. I've been a pro smugger for about 3 years now going on 4th year renewal in March. I NEED ANSWERS. Thanks.

It looks like you're doing all you can from within your site, but from what I've heard to get into Google Image search, you need incoming links from other relevant, highly ranked sites. Searching on Google for:
link:blazerphoto.com
there's just one result coming up.
You can get started by creating a blog where you post photos and link back to your SmugMug site. Maybe get in touch with local bloggers from your area or photography related blogs to see if they could feature you on a post or two.
Once you get your site linked by other quality sites, Google might start adding more of your photos to their image search, too.

Thanks Sebastian, I am considering starting up my blog again. I also will be looking at getting some linking going on. I appreciate your time.
