I finally made my way to Le CLaire and it was a great adventure. Saturday was gloomy and i thought my photos mediocre. Sunday I went early and it was again, so-so, then i came back later in the day and got some great shots.

Overall, I am very happy, i got eagles soaring, fishing, hanging out in trees, but this set from my trip is my favorite shots by far.

Those are some fine Eagle shots. He seems proud of his catch.

The last shot with his head tilted back reminds me of the odd looking poses that Audubon painted. Very cool.

Always a good day when you find an eagle to photograph. Especially if he has a fish and is putting on a show. Watermark is a bit overpowering for me. Thanks for sharing this nice set of images.
