Personally, I'd like to see a bit more foreground.
I do like it.
a bit more foreground would be nice to give room for easier matting. but all in all good pic.
Thanks Ric and Art, the foreground question, but now it's too late and reindeers are gone.
Here is the link of an other pic, where I had noticed the composition better -

Sure...but I think it would need even more FG then. CAF to the rescue!
Thought it was understood since others mentioned adding foreground. Just saying the format of a vertical would have worked better in this case. You still should follow some sound rules of composition no matter what format us decide to use.
CAF is a wonderful tool if you forget to plan the shot out originally and don't have a well balanced image with enough positive and negative space. Thinking first saves one a lot of work later. Just wish I could remember this stuff out in the bright hot sun.

Sometimes thinking won't help one bit. After all you are not in a studio.
...and some of us can't think fast enough in a given situation. I was not suggesting that one should just shoot willy nilly and try to fix it in post. We are talking about an image that has already been captured.
Maybe Google will come out with a "Composition Check" like "Spell Check" in an appliable firmware update.wink
BTW the reference to CAF was for the benefit of the OP.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Thanks for the comments and the trick to use the CAF techniques. Here are "the original" photo for the first (more air above) and then the second shot, which is a bit soft. The second one shows more foreground. If I remember clear the situation there were bushes between me and the reindeer flock.
