An extraordinary shot of an relatively ordinary Hammer. Nice lighting, reflections, shadows, and background; still a hammer.

Blue sky+harsh sunlight = January in the UK?? Has the world come to an end?? rolleyes1.gif

(actually, having just been there during 10 days of warm temperatures and blue skies, I know it's for real!)

Fun shot - definitely taking something ordinary and making a great shot out of it! thumb.gif

    Thank you.
Now to decide whether to use my Hammer Head for "Ordinary" or my Glass Flames for "Unique" ne_nau.gif

Very ordinary, in deed....but, I also agree, a great, clean image.

I love it. Although I'm torn in thinking it needs a hair of fill......but then I relook at it and find that I really like the the contrast of the shadowed side vs the top which has the light falling on it. Very nice!

    Thank you.
Froch - I used a bit of fill on the underside for this shot. The other shots were much darker.

I think it's my angle of view on my LCD at home. On my laptop when I rock the screen I see this great detail in the shadowed side, which is what I thought was missing. VERY NICE!
