This may work, may not. I like his expression. My first go at scanning my own film. Have at it.:D

Love the expression too. And the distinct levels of gray and the fulcrum balance between him and the car is wonderful.

Nice work Patti! Good balance to the shot, I know digital is supposed to decrease grain, but what if you increased the grain even more?.... just a thought.

Very nice. There is an interesting story here that we are not quite inside of. You nailed the exposure.
    If not now, when?

Thanks! I liked it but usually I like stuff that doesn't appeal to others so I wasn't sure.

I like the balance of outside light and inside dark as well as the guys expression. So what was the conversation after the shot? :D

No conversation at all actually. He happened to glance at me just as I pressed the shutter. Pure luckthumb.gif

Patti, I think this a success in every which way. I love his expression, I simply love the exposure and how you utilized the window light. It reminds me of the old "New York School" of photography of the 50s & 60s, especially Roy deCarava. The raindrops on the window perfectly complement his somewhat quizzical and contemplating face. In my opinion, this is what street photography is all about - a story untold... clap.gif

    I think it works well.
At multiple levels, it a good image. It gives a sens of environment and place. A key component to this, the look back is the perfect what is about to happen, are you taking a picture me, Was there a confrontation? All fits and holds the viewer interest and captures the imagination.
