The first two are definitely best. I go back and forth on the color; I think I like the B&W better, but it's close.

Maybe there is a processing trick that brings out the I (heart) U a little stronger? I have no idea how to do it, but maybe the PS masters around here do.

I think I'm leaning towards the b/w, cuz my eye keeps getting drawn to the green moss instead of the hearts in the colored version.

Thanks for the comments, everyone! I may play a bit with the processing if I get some time this week.

I also have some other ideas. I hope I get some time to work them.

Don't hold back! I can take it. :D

A little less extreme on the processing. My husband says #7, but what does he know? mwink.gif

I prefer #7 because of the way the processing emphasizes the variety of textures but might also like something between #7 and #8, but see what others think.

I also like the b/w of the tree alone - without the swing.

Caption for #7/8 could also be "waiting up" for those of us who are raising or have raised some teens!

#7 for me, I like the texture that the processing brings out. I like your title. It's a toss up for me between the color and b&w, but probably favor the b&w slightly

#5 - Two Hearts does look much better to me - my eye is drawn to the hearts instead of the green! Nice job!

But I really like one of the last ones for this challenge - an ordinary setting with quite a unique lamp! Wonder what it would look like in a sepia tone - something in between the full color & the b/w?

Thanks for the comments, sapphire73, Karin, and Lillian!

Here is one with a bit of selective desaturation. Better?

Well, I entered #7. I am still debating whether I should switch it out for #9.

I like the warmth of #7's colour. It also gives it a retro look.

Did you mean the original #6? #7 is B&W.

Retro really describes my house. :lol

For what it's worth, I like #7 better. For me, the black & white sets the mood better than the color one.

Thanks, Sherry! I think the preference for one over the other comes down to personal taste. I am still waffling.

    I know it's late now, but I like #5! :D

I really like how the message emerges after you look at it for a minute. Nice job desaturating the green!

#7 or #9, I like them both:D Sorry, not much help, but you're right, it comes down to personal taste, so you have to go with the one you like best.
