We had our first very nice weather outside at 70degrees F yesterday. My little kid played outside the house and left the glove and ball on the ground. Thought it'd be nice to use as a subject.

Love the lighting - looks like a nice summer day.

You're making me jealous - more snow coming on Wednesday. How many days until pitchers & catchers??

We got 2 more days of 68 - 70 deg F ahead, and then chilly 24's again. headscratch.gif:D

The glove reminds me of the A2000 I used when I played ball. Nice Jiro.

I like it, but the shadow is distracting I think. I could be really nitpicky and say that the glove could be open more and the ball be a little more in the glove, like the palm area. But I do like it (as a ballplayer myself):D

Glad that you like it, Sir. The glove is still a bit stiff and I can't fully open it up to show more inside detail. I guess it's because of the cold weather. As for the shadows, this was shot outdoors and I wanted to show that nice 'orangey' cast of the sun on the subject. I'll try to work around on the shadow areas again later. Thanks for the suggestions. :D

Nice texture in this photo ... leather and stone. The stone really shows off the glove.

Reminds me of my youth and playing catch with my glove :D

Send some of that nice weather straight north please :D

Thanks for viewing, Mary. It's only a one sunny scene that day. Now, we're back on some cold days ahead, and some rain. headscratch.gif:D

Wonderful lighting...nice and natural looking. Lots of good detail. This would be a fun photo to vintage or black and white!

The B&W looks good but I prefer the color version for its warmth. thumb.gif

Thanks, Richard. I also like the colored version better. Makes me want to put the glove in my hand. :D

That's a really clean shot, Jiro. Makes me want to pick up that glove and have a game of catch. nod.gif

Color version all the way, of course. The colors of that glove leather and stitching on the ball are iconic.

Ohhh I like the black and white...thinking Babe Ruth... But I know the color gives that warm feel to the glove.
