Of Mexico, these were located just outside of Mexico City.
The Pyramids are at the City of Teotihuacan. The Larger Pyramids are
the "Pyramid of the Sun" and "Pyramid of the Moon", and the long corridor
is called the "Avenue of the Dead"
Thanks for looking, Shot with Modded D70S.

Howdy Tom,
Thanks so much.
Yes, Ya'll have to, and let us know<G>
We loved every second there. We stayed right on the Z'ocalo, it was
wonderful and had a very special guide that took us everywhere we wanted to go.
The thing that amazed us was the Traffic, normal across town trips would be 1-1.5 hours, of course with 20 million people I guess that tells the story.
I don't know if the violence is in the Capitol or not. The people were so
gracious and kind everywhere we went.
Could have spent a Month just in Mexico City.

Howdy Gary,
Thanks very much,
They have it dated back to 200BC, and then it's demise around 7-800AD
Here's a link with some really good data.
Sorry, forgot to answer about going inside, they really don't have any entrances that are open, or "open" to the Public
that I know of, you'd have to think there are tunnels and rooms, but really haven't heard anyone speak on that.
Thanks again!!!

Thanks for the link to read up on this place .. can't believe they built a Wal-mart by it. All that history dug up. Hope they found everything in the local dump.

Morning Mary,
Thanks very much!!!
This place was stunning, and it had a feel to it that's hard to describe,
and we actually climbed to the top of one of the smaller ones, and one
can only imagine what it would have looked like when first built and a
thriving community. We all seemed to have that same feel. Would love
to go back and experience it again.
In and around Mexico City, almost every square inch of real estate is
being used by something or someone.
