I used this camera only a handful of times, mostly to shoot ballets. It has had the focus fix performed by Canon and takes very good pictures. I have everything that came with it, except the plastic terminal plug. I do have the metal one, and I think the plastic ones should be easy enough to find (or get from Canon.)

$2050 or best offer. A similar 1D mk III sold for that price recently on FM.

If you come down much further Im going to have to buy it even though I just sold one and dont need it!
I dont think a letter stating number of clicks is necessary at this price especially from a member with over 6K posts here and been a member for 7 years!
New shutter=~$300 which I highly doubt it will be needed for quite some time.

Hes sold a few high dollar items here.

I'm not implying anything...I've bought a 1D III from a FM member with great reputation... but after sending one to Canon it's like 30K difference. I'm sure he forgot how much he's been using the camera. I'm also aware it's 300K shutter rating.

Didnt say there were any implications.
Personally I dont see the difference between 4K and 40K or even 100K at this price.
Just to answer for the OP before it gets asked this is a pre dot version by looking at the serial number.
I went through a few MKIII bodies and the best condition of the bunch was also the earliest serial number and also the one I kept until selling recently. From the looks of things the seller is as anal about his gear as I am, and Im very anal ;0)

Are you getting back into rodeo?
It is the purpose of life that each of us strives to become actually what he is potentially. We should be obsessed with stretching towards that goal through the world we inhabit.
