As for high ISO- the only shot that was high ISO was #3 which was at 1600. The others were 100, 250, and 200. The high ISO is better than my previous system, no doubt about it, but is still not as good as I was hoping for.
While it is frustrating the Canon only goes to 30 seconds (my previous camera went to 1 minute) it far superior in that aspect.What is significantly better is the no noise or hot pixels in long exposures. The star trails shot was ISO 200 for 45 minutes.
I am already composing many more star trails shots in my head.
