iPhone/iPad Create a Card

The create a card functionality requires Flash, and as a result won't display on iOS devices which lack Flash support. Would it be possible to remove this option from the 'Buy' list if it is being accessed through an iphone/ipad (using a user-agent check perhaps)? Also, it seems like the create a card page should show some sort of error message if the client doesn't have flash - as it is, all they get is a confusing black screen :(.

Thanks for posting such a great, detailed feature request. If you don't mind, we'd love it if you would put your feature requests here: http://feedback.smugmug.com

    Thanks!

Here's another example of a "feature request" that's not really a feature at all. It's just something Smug needs to fix. Smug has to get more serious about sorting fixes from features-- this is getting crazy. It's no surprise it's so far down the list-- because no one in their right mind is going to go there looking for this as a feature. It's more like a non-feature (for all the people who don't have Flash... which is a lot) and so it should just be fixed the way he's explaining. It's the same basic concept as on certain uploaders-- it should just tell you right away that you can't use it if you can't, or give the correct kind of error message. When the feature forum gets so bogged down with stuff like this that shouldn't be put there, it's just too unwieldy to be helpful. Bugs & needed fixes do not equal features. rolleyes1.gif

Thanks Anna Lisa, for your passionate feedback thumb.gif

I've already asked the developers to attend to this issue. It's a feature, since we don't have any shopping cart ability in the iPad / iPhone yet. It's in the plans!
