The captions are automatically turned into alt tags. The captions ARE the alt tags. There's nothing else to do. Simple as that.

If you want the alt tag to appear on an external site, use Sharing > Embeddable links > Blog-small/medium/big.

Unfortunately, many forums (like Dgrin) prohibit the use of html and use BB code instead. If it's your forum, allow html. If it isn't your forum, well... too bad. I don't know if there's an alt tag equivalent for BB code.

I have just run a Google Keyword Tool search to check my website keywords content; I typed my url to check in the box

    immagine1dw.png

but the term Venice just doesn't come up in the keywords list.

    Hi Andy
well, I have that keyword in ALL (24) images caption while the keyword page you show me is suggesting it's in 20 of them. But still, I can't understand why the keyword Venice doesn't appear at all checking the site content on Google Keyword Tool.

I'm not familiar with the tool, but maybe it's not doing a full text search on the contents of the page, but rather looks for specific fields or links containing your specific word? I'd check its documentation on how keywords that it's looking for are defined.

A link to the specific tool you're using may be helpful so we could take a look at it ourselves.

Here's what I get for your gallery:

Somehow the tool doesn't seem to be for what you're trying to use it. As far as I can tell it's about giving you suggestions on what keywords to use and give you an idea on how many sites out there are competing with similar keywords. It seems to be for users of Google adwords for optimizing ads or something.
    Maybe I'm missing something.
