Small Prob with Contol Panel

I got real ambitious when I first joined SM and made a ton of custom cats, think I wanted everything in a separate cat...maybe I do.....but not right now.
Prob is not the unused cats but one or 2 that I am using and wanted to make changes in titles of.


so i go to Control panel > Categories > edit....SCroll down the page to Rename a CAtegory....open drop down.......Portfoilo......IS Not There....


Now the question: Why is Portfolio not there????

Everything else that matters....(at this time)...Is there.

    you can't rename OUR category names - and Portfolio is one of those.

    you can creat My Portfolio or Art's Portfolio or just use our portfolio category that already exists.

    And, to answer the second part of your question. If you create a new category, you can go to your galleries and assign them to the new category in gallery settings and they will just move there with all comments, photos, etc...
