Gallery Setting - Multiple Galleries is a pain to work in.
I have several galleries that need the exact same changes made...so I went in to the Multiple Galleries button...but I can only pick 1 gallery at a time.......this is NO much faster than going to each gallery and click on the gallery setting box to make the changes..................
1- Why can't we click CTRL (pc here) and then HighLight all the gallery's we want to change??
2- If I check All My Galleries......is that exactly as it states all my galleries site wide or is for all the galleries in the Category that shows under Essentials??

I agree with your sentiment. There ought to be just a big screen with your galleries in a collapsible hiearchical view and you can check a category or individual galleries real quickly all in one screen and then go. This business about picking individual galleries one at a time through a hierarchical menu is about the least efficient way it could have been implemented. Wait until Smugmug has even more levels and this UI is going to be even worse.

Here's the quickest way I found to do it though.
Reboot your computer and only run your browser. Open your main page or category that has all the galleries. Open each album in a different tab, as many as your system can handle without getting slow. Now go through each tab, making the same change and hitting save. Change to the next tab as soon as it starts saving. It helps if you have a high resolution monitor so you don't have to scroll. If you can use a keyboard shortcut to move between tabs, use it. This way you mouse with one hand and move tabs with another. Once you've made changes and saved all your galleries, close the tabs, starting with the one you saved first since it will be done saving. Then you're left with your page of albums again and you can continue the process.
It's better to have only a few tabs open and your system not slow down than a bunch and it slow down. If it's slowing down, it's closer to crashing. And after doing this a few times, there's going to be memory leak issues that will eventually crash the system if you continue long enough. Different browsers will have different efficiencies and speed, so experiement.

I just tried using change settings for multiple galleries, but it looks that I will have to go in individually for some settings. For example it doesn't allow to update the watermark on existing images when it updates multiple galleries.

When I look at feedback from my end it shows 'status: duplicate'. I guess they removed my entry and there must be somewhere a similar feedback. I will be glad to add a vote, but I need to find it first.
Couple minutes later, and just found the other feedback here.
The one that I tried to start was: "One idea .... have a list of gallery names on the left side and have an ability to move names to a list on the right side, and then apply the selected settings."
