for Unique--needs help with title and I have to fix that weird highlighted outline.

Any of these work for you?

Is that supposed to be a blind woman reading the newspaper? Funny. I think, though, that I prefer the image in #2 Ordinary. Just walking...just talking.

You found not one, but two people sitting on a snow covered bench - both reading a newspaper - funny, yes - unique enough, not sure??

5th Ave - Just another normal day - I like it.

The first is a fun capture of a sort of unusual situation, but I gotta say that the second one is so full of life and movement that I can't help liking it better, both overall and for the challenge.

    Thanks for the input all.
I think you are right the first image would have worked for "unique" if it was only the older lady on the bench not both--

So far it looks like the second one works for "ordinary", but I do like the title suggestion "walking and talking"--who doesn't do that?
    Thanks.
I have one more to upload here for ordinary.

    Appreciate your input.

I like them both - you could always crop out the second sitter....

Are they ordinary? They look like twins. both in features, but in the gesture you've frozen them in.

It's really cool the way they are both in step & putting their left hands into their pocket - & great expressions! Nice shot - both shots are good, just like the second one better for the challenge.

This parallel gesture with the left hands is so cool... but I gotta tell you that I really like the story the first one tells. That said, I'm gonna agree that the second is probably the right one for this challenge.

I did notice the fringing in the upper right of #1. I suspect it's color fringing from the blending to a stark white (snow) background. There are some techniques to correct it (think I saw some here on DGrin?), but it may be difficult to manage once the conversion's done. If you have image editing software the small amount of it would be pretty easy to clone out.

    Cool stuff as usual! clap.gif

Really like the energy and facial expressions of the subjects in #2. I find the shadow in lower left corner is a bit distracting, but that is easily fixed.
