    Very cool bird. I have yet to have the good fortune to run into one of these. Wish the kite would have cooperated a bit more and provided you with a much closer show. Thanks for sharing . Nice job

    Yeah, this little beauty was hanging out above a creek. No way to get within a hundred feet. We stood there for more than half an hour waiting for it to fly or do something other than sit there preening itself. Kind of reminded me of some of the models that I work with :D

    I am envious Steve. I have not been able to get a capture of those yet. Most of the folks who got close to them used waders.
