3 monos for your scrutiny

Hi All,

Ok, so here are 3 mono images which I plan to print (about A3) and mounted. They're for an Open Subject mono print competition at my club.

I would like your opinions...they all need to be mono. With the boat I was going "dreamy", with the Ford I was going "mean" and with the picture of Annie, well...that's Annie. :)

Tell me what you think. ???

    All are good. Among the 3, without changing anything, #2 would be a very good candidate. However, if you apply an S-curve adjustment on #1, I would definitely consider that as the winner. I think having a strong contrast on #1 would work better than the dreamy effect. I did some minor tweak on your image to show my point. Kindly let me know if editing your work is offensive and I will immediately delete the image. Thanks.

    Yes, I think the boat was lacking in contrast, and so do other folks I showed these to. I think the edit looks good, and I will re-do from the original with moe contrast.
