Why maps?

The new map this feature is very neat, and fun to play with. But I wonder how long it took to develop this feature. Shouldn't you guys be spending your precious time developing the features that photographers have been begging for. Let's start crossing some of those items off the list, and not adding more to the top.

    from thought to finish was pretty darn fast.

    in the software business, it's always a balance between new features that folks are asking for, bug fixes, and cool new frontiers. the smugmug team does a really good job in balancing all of this. stay tuned....

    I just thought I'd poke my head in, haven't been around here in a while, ...and say that I absolutely love the map feature and I find it very useful. I travel a lot, or have a little and hope to a lot, and smugmaps lets me pinpoint almost the exact tripod location, anywhere on the globe. The greatest example of this is my recent Rabbit Island gallery, which with I can show you exactly where I went. It's awesome.
