Hello!
Tried out the macro function of my new lens, a Sigma 70-300 mm f/4.0-f/5.6 DG Macro today. All pics are shot at 300 mm, ISO 400, handheld.

Excellent shots Matty - the first two are amazing. Can you give some more details about the shots (F-stop, flash, distance from subject)?

So I see you went with the Sigma rather than the Tamron.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

    Thanx Alan!

    Sure, here you go:

First pic: 300 mm, (Macro-mode), ca 1 meter away, 1/200s, F6.3, ISO 800 and just a little fill flash. Slightly cropped.

Second pic: 300 mm, (Macro-mode), ca 1 meter away, 1/200s, F16, ISO 800 and a little fill flash. No Crop.

    Regards / Matty

I like the first one best - nice DOF, but they're all really great.

300mm handheld - wow. I think I drink too much coffee to do that :D
