Photo View Count?

I'm trying to find something that seems like it should be easy, but I can't find it anywhere. Isn't there someplace in smugmug where you can display the number of times a photograph has been viewed directly under the photograph? Seems simple, but I can't figure it out.

    No, that is in your Control Panel, Stats tab. http://www.smugmug.com/help/acctreport

    Can you tell us more about why this is important to you? Is it of you? Or your visitors? How would such info on the page help?

    That's a fair point. I guess it's more important to me. It's just something that's always been there from my coppermine installation through gallery2 and gallery3, it's always been readily available. It's important to me because I like to know what type of photograhs garner the most interest. I have never polled the community-at-large asking about it. If it's available via the control panel, I guess that will have to do. I'm still in my trial period on smugmug and I'm trying to determine if I want to switch to smugmug or continue with my G3 installation.

    We don't want so much on the page. We're actually working to clean up the gallery page even more. We have lots of stats for you - cp, stats tab :)

    I've mainly been using Flickr (but been on SmugMug too for a few years), but have decided to move over to SmugMug 100%. The feature I miss the most is the richness in Flickr's stats. The main screen shows me exactly what I'm interested in - the number of views per photo today and yesterday. Don't have to drill into the various galleries independently. I can also get referral URLs (not just the domain) trivially. Lots of stuff I love about Smug, but this is one of those rough edges....
