I shot this the other night with my 20D+my Bigma Lens+ a 2x TC. This is about the best shot I have gotten so far. I'll get better.:):

    Thanks. Glad you liked it.:): Just keep on practicing with your exposure. You'll get it. It took me awhile to find the best exposure for me. ISO [email="400@f/8.0@1/200s"]400@f/8.0@1/200s[/email] works great for me. Of course, I use MLU with a remote shutter cable to trip the shutter. I also shoot in manual mode.:):

    Looks great,I also use the bigma and have enjoyed shooting the moon with it.Seeing this shot makes me want to get the 2x teleconverter for mine.thumb.gif ...Mike

    Glad you like it, Mike. When you get you a 2x TC, get the Tamron (cheap one). I have other brands including Sigmas, but I have better luck with the Tamrons.:):

    Heres one I took a few months ago with my 170-500 (not quite so bigma maybe?)

    Mine looks a littel more washed out than yours, guess I need to work on the exposure for the next ones

    Now I'm jealous, the longest focal length I have is 200. I need to get a 500mm and use my 2x converter.
    Pentax K20D 14.6mp Body : Pentax *ist D 6.1mp Body : Pentax ZX10 Body : 180mm Sigma Macro EX lens : 18-55mm Pentax SMC DA Lens : 28-200mm Sigma Lens : 50-500mm Sigma APO DG EX lens : Pentax AF-500FTZ flash : Sigma EX 2x Teleconverter.
