    They're all beautiful and I could point out something really fantastic in each of them. But I love, love LOVE #5 - it manages to capture the "little girl" side that's still there under all the teen sophistication and is really the special shot in the set for me. thumb.gif

    Love 3 & 5 especially. The light sky in 3 does take you eye away from the subject. Try a tighter crop. Great Job on all.

    Thanks everyone for sharing the love. Charles your right on #3 - the bright sky is leading the viewers eye up and out of the frame. The tree branches up there are also a bit distract to me. I did shoot it both ways (like this, and in tighter without the sky) but I like the triangular shapes this way better than without them in the tighter comp.

    I was wondering if you could duplicate part of the wall and put it in the upper right. Maybe invert it. The brown edge leading down is really cool and would keep the eye in the photo.

    These are really fantastic. Fresh approach to setting and composition. You made the most of her red hair, pale skin and beautiful eyes. #'s 1, 4 & 5 are my favorites.

    Maybe so. I am by no means a retouching wizard. For the time it would take me, I'll just leave it and give her the two options. I still really find the branches more distracting than anything else.

    I love that everyone has different favorites for different reasons. That's what I love about photography. Maybe it's strange that my favorite from this set is probably #2.

    LOVE #6, i just wish you could see her other eye (but that's just a me thing lol)

    I always like the uptight and personal so number 4 is really my cup o tea. As to 3, I love the angles and would leave the crop as it is....Maybe it's just me--but I would duplicate the grass on that top right corner. Use the brown part of the wall as your edging and just duplicate from there on up getting rid of the chain link fence and all.

    I LOVE everything in #1, the crop, the curve of her hair that matches the curve of the background, the lighting just coming over the hill, the curve of her body,the lighting on her face, the proportions of it all,.... it is just a stunning image in MHO, AWESOME each time I look at it.
    The rest are very nice too..lol.

    Thanks guys! The best part about #1 is that she was standing on a guard rail post (about 6"x6") and about to loose her balance at any time. As soon as I had the easy shot in the can, I told her "Okay one more, but this time I want you to whip your hair around." She looked at me like I was crazy... perhaps I am. Thankfully we got it the first time.

    Beautiful! Love all but especially 4 & 5. You know... love the unconventional crops. I have often felt some of my photos look best cropped in non-standard aspect ratios and I end up cropping them conventionally. Not sure why. It's almost like I feel like I'm breaking some rule that is never to be broken. After seeing these, I really need to chuck that concept out the window. Thank you.
