I've made a start at de-lurking as you put it. By contributing here and there in Dgrin.

I want to compliment the entire Smugmug team and community for the effort, distance and accomplishment that has gone into this online system.

Coming from a software industry background including web-server delivered products, I can really appreciate the depth and flexibility you have been able to create and maintain. As you know, it is not very easy to add in a feature and have it play nice with all the other variables the system has to offer.

Having just started my new photography venture and relationship with Smugmug at the beginning of the year, I have encountered very few gotchas, and if there are some you try to make notice of them in advance in your tutorials.

Most of my trouble is my own learning curve because of the feature depth and flexibility. This is a good problem to have. Wish I had more time to just sit here and get my site polished.
